This is an exceptional example of the ultimate Copicat (sorry, Charlie Watkins, but the digital and later versions really don't cut it) and is for sale complete with original footswitch and a fresh new box of original Copicat loops (accept no substitute!).
It is in stunning condition - rare to find one as good as this - and sounds superb having had a full overhaul with our techs.
We no longer service/sell many Copicats as they are usually too battered to be worthwhile, but this one was too good to miss - you'll not find a better example anywhere.
One of the most sought-after models (and probably the most versatile) of all the Copicats, with three echo replay heads and the all-important variable speed motor control for tempo-matched repeats (or crazy dive-bombing feedback dub effects).
The original footswitch is missing its WEM badge but that's a minor grumble.
Dating from the late 70s (or possibly early 80s?), this machine has been freshly serviced at Soundgas and is sounding great. The repeats have that pleasing analogue tape warmth which sits so well behind whatever you're playing. This is not a crisp digital delay unit...
It's an excellent tool when mixing, and great for dub-style feedback delays which sound wonderful - it's very easy to get lost creating hypnotic feedback rhythms when 'playing' this machine.
