To create a pair of machines for stereo use, we carefully select two units that are of similar vintage and then complete a full overhaul and calibration. Once this is complete we test to determine how well they work together - this often involves servicing several machines before completion, hence longer lead times are likely.
While you can use any two machines in stereo, the variations in performance and sound from radically differing production years, levels of wear and component aging can yield uncertain results.
We match as closely as is reasonably practical, but some variations are still present, but these add to the overall effect which is mesmerising. Once you try stereo Space Echoes, you'll never want to use a plug in or emulation again.
