SSH International Guitar Fuzz and Filter E-1

SSH International Guitar Fuzz and Filter E-1

Extremely rare high-quality Swiss SSH E-1 vintage Fuzz/Wah/Filter pedal, for sale in excellent working order.

A great wah/auto filter and rich, thick fuzz. Lots of tones and timbres possible - plenty of tone-shaping options - the wah/filter section capable of a wide variety of very nice wah tones. According to the base it’s 100-240v operation. Looks to have had one footswitch changed. There is some volume drop when middle switch (filter section) engaged on certain settings, probably as a result of the filter - still very usable.

Made by SSH International a division of FM Acoustics, Switzerland, it dates from the mid-70s and is ultra, ultra rare - very little info anywhere.

Sounds incredible and not quite like anything else we've had through.

Serviced and in excellent working order - no crackly pots or noisy switch issues - sounds incredible.

The condition is good. It has some signs of age - a few dings and some minor oxidation. See the photos for more information.

(Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used - even during shipping - this can usually be easily rectified either by use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray)
