Sound Workshop Model 262 Stereo Reverb

Sound Workshop Model 262 Stereo Reverb

Excellent two channel/stereo reverb unit. High quality 70s / early 80s unit with good EQ options. Made in NYC USA.

For sale serviced by our tech and working well.

See the full Sound Workshop 262 manual here on Preservation Sound's site. From that manual:

The 262 features extended high and low frequency response and a fullness previously associated with systems of substantially higher cost. IN addition, its equalizer section permits continuously variable frequency selection in both the high and low frequency bands. These sweepable EQ cicuits feature a fixed bandwidth, opitimised for proper contouring of the reverberant signal, and a plus and minus 15db range.

Features include:

  • BTA (balanced transformerless amplifier) input circuitry
  • wide range LED metering for optimum gain staging
  • input mix for maximum flexibility without external patching
  • complete output mixing facilities provide full control of dry/reverberant ratio (useful in broadcast and "disco" applications)
  • two band sweepable EQ on each channel
  • full drive level into 600 Ohms
  • optimised biFET preamps for low noise performance
  • superior spring design yields incredibly smooth response and freedom from flutter
  • maximum isolation from acoustic coupling to the environment

CONDITION: Very good. Some minor scuffs and signs of use.

VOLTAGE:

  • 117v model.
  • A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

  • For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
