The classic monophonic analogue bass synthesiser that defined acid house and techno since the mid 1980s. Released in 1982 as a partner to the TR-606, the TB-303 failed commercially at first but together with the 808 and 909 became the sound of acid house and techno with its distinctive resonant squelch and pitch slides. Used by DJ Pierre, Phuture, Aphex Twin, Richie Hawtin/Plastikman, Daft Punk and many more.
