This unit is Soundgas serviced, tested, in superb working order, backed by a 12 month warranty and fitted with our early preamp mod.

Our early preamp mod captures the character and sound of the very first RE-201s (which are rarely found, especially in reliable working order). Expect a warmer, fuller sound with smoother, more musical repeats and greater presence - less grit than a standard 201. A studio favourite for everything from guitar and synths to vocals, drums and beyond.

Full electronic and mechanical service by the Soundgas team with new and restored parts where needed. The tape transport is fully overhauled, heads cleaned and aligned, and the whole unit is calibrated for peak performance and restored to sound/perform better than when it left the factory.
