Roland PA.120 Spring Reverb Mixer

Roland PA.120 Spring Reverb Mixer

8 channel spring reverb PA mixer - serviced - great looks and sound.

These 70s Roland mixers sound great, especially when you overdrive the inputs - can really add punch to DAW beats and synths and have a superb built-in spring reverb (equivalent to the RE-201 spring). We've been getting lots of positive feedback from customers using them to add texture and colour to drum machines, synths etc. Check the stock list (link above) for more models and our Instagram feed for regular demos featuring similar models to this.

This unit is mono in operation. Has the advantage over some models in that the internal spring reverb and external effect send can be applied simultaneously to each channel (however the downside is you can't apply spring to one while you apply echo to another at the same time).

Condition is good with some signs of age but nothing serious - click on the photos to zoom in and see more shots. Note that it has some stickers at the tops of the channels which we feel add to the character of the unit (they can no doubt be removed with the correct compound but it could be time-consuming for a relatively low-value unit).

  • It is a 100v Japanese model and will run on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is required for extended use.
  • A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
  • The power output of the transformer required will depend on whether you intend to use the mixer to drive speakers or not (most people using it as a studio effect do not).
  • We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.

For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.

Currently working well and crackle-free and it will be re-tested before shipping. Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used - even during a short delivery period - this should clear with use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray.
