Moog Prodigy model 336BX, produced between 1981 and 1984, featuring CV/Gate input and S-trig input, as well as rear panel access to oscillator sync, filter audio input, and external control—features not present on earlier models. Fully analogue and monophonic, the Prodigy offers two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) with sawtooth, triangle, and pulse waveforms, plus oscillator sync and detuning for rich, harmonically complex tones.
The 24dB/octave Moog low-pass filter (VCF) is self-oscillating and features resonance and envelope modulation, alongside a dedicated ADSR envelope generator and LFO for pitch and filter modulation. The keyboard is a 32-note, full-sized non-velocity-sensitive unit with pitch and modulation wheels.
This unit has been freshly serviced and calibrated for stable tuning and reliable performance. 240V UK mains with IEC socket. Supplied with a three-month warranty.
